Jakarta Dreams - A charity release - in support of the Roslin Orphanage in West Timor, Indonesia. All revenue generated by this release will be donated by Splash Blue directly to this worthy cause.
A message from Bluey: How blessed most of us are to have a single parent, let alone both parents, and a nurturing family to protect and guide us through life. For those so unfortunate to have lost their families in unforeseen tragedies, victims of separation, those rescued from abuse and the abandoned, what a light an orphanage run by decent caring soulful people must be! On the 4th of January, we will release “Jakarta Dreams” to raise funds for this unique and exemplary orphanage. The Roslin Orphanage in Kupang City Indonesia.

This song by Incognito featuring Indonesian artists Dira Sugandi, Tompi, Petra Sihombing, Rega Dauna with additional backing vocals from Nurul Rahayu Purnamasari, Henry Gasperz, Stefani Anindya, and Joy Rose is written and produced by Richard Bull who also played several instruments and me.
This would not have been possible without the support of Peter and Dewi Gontha and the Java Jazz team, Prajna Murdaya, my London studio partner Ian Ingram, Andre Supryanata for the use of his wonderful studio in Jakarta Sumber Ria Mix Suite. Chantal Etheve for the cover artwork. Engineers Mo Hausler, Simon Cotsworth. The Splash Blue team Ravi Chidambaram, Julian Fontenell, and David Ranalli. Craig Evens, Stephen King, and the team at Believe Digital. All our friends who assisted and my Incognito band members. What we are doing is only a small thing, the real heroes here are the orphans themselves and two of the most inspiring people on the planet Budi and Peggy, the founders of The Roslin Orphanage. To all our friends worldwide, we look forward to your support for this worthy cause. Peace and much love... Bluey
